Booster Committees and Volunteer Opportunities

The Band Boosters are a wholly volunteer organization whose main responsibility is to support the West Boca Raton High School Band Program. Without dedicated volunteers there is no way that our goal would be achieved. It takes a great deal of time, organization and effort each year to meet the needs of the Band Program. Please take a moment to look over the volunteer needs below and let us know if you could volunteer, even if it’s for just an hour of your time! Fund Raising

Fundraising has become more important than ever to the success of the West Boca Raton High School Band.  State funds simply do not cover the needs of the band.  We must raise funds to subsidize the band to continue to provide an excellent music education program to our children.  The future of the music program at WBHS depends on it. We currently have two types of fundraising:  Fair Share and General.  Each student is encouraged to participate in both Fair Share Fundraising and the General Band Fundraising as both are used to offset fees for both the current and upcoming seasons.  Click on the section title to learn more!

About CHARMS
CHARMS is an on-line program used by band programs across the country that allows parents and students to log in to see rehearsal schedules and upcoming events, print out copies of itineraries and handouts, and lots more.  It works on any computer connected to the internet.  It is recommended that you check CHARMS regularly to keep up-to-date with the VANGUARD program.


WBHS VIPS Program

VIPS stands for "Volunteers In Public Schools" and it's the program used by the Palm Beach County School System.  If you're interested in volunteering -- chaperoning, Pit Crew, working concessions, etc. -- for the band, visit this page to find out how to register to become a volunteer.
